Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in association with the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, is organizing the 3rd SERB School on Robotics at IIT Delhi from 23rd to 28th June, 2017. Robotics being a rapidly growing field, research, design, and development of new applications play a vital role in taking the Indian industry to new heights. The objective of the workshop is to provide the participants a comprehensive coverage of the theory and practice in the area of robotics, to prepare them to take up advanced research. Participation from researchers at Research Labs, Industry and post graduate students working in the general area of Robotics are invited to attend this workshop.

Please note that the selected candidates shall be informed through email. They are requested to fill the form indicating their period of stay latest by 12 noon of 12th June 2017.
The last date for registration has been extended till 14th June 2017. However, priority shall be given to the candidates registered before 21st May. **The final decision for candidates who registered between 22nd May to 14th June will be announced on 16th June 2017. Due to fund constraints, these candidates will not be provided with free accomodation. However, suitable arragements will be made on payment basis.
Engineering faculty from colleges all over the country, including private and CFTI, will be the participants. Few seats will be available to research students working in the area of robotics. Various fundamental topics will be covered:
- Robot kinematics
- Robot control
- Embedded system in robotics
The lectures will discuss future research directions in the area of Robotics, and demonstrate how to write project proposals. There will be practical and interactive training sessions.
